Nobody will be able to resist this adorable "Pilgrim" Turkey, campaigning to change the main fare of the traditional Thankgiving meal!

You will have as much fun making this cake centerpiece as Susan Carberry had creating it for you. Complete with a Puritan outfit, protest signs and hay bales, you'll be able to "may hay while the sun still shines" constructing this tasty turkey!

How does she do it? You'll find out in this 19-video step-by-step instruction set.

Susan utilizes fondant, some air-brushing, and other "tricks of the trade" in this cake. It's best to have the "Cake Decorating Made Easy!" basics under your belt, or have other cake decorating experience to get the most out of this cake!

Meet the Decorator...
For eight years, Susan Carberry was the Lead Cake Designer for a bakery in Dana Point, California, helping it to grow to one of the most sought-out bakeries in Orange County.

During that time, she gave Sugar Art Instruction and Demonstrations across the nation.

Her "Edible Works of Art" have won numerous awards and have been featured in magazines such as American Cake Decorating, as well as on the Food Network's show, "Top Five". And, as you'll see, in addition to being a World-Class cake and cookie decorator, Susan has a real knack for making her lessons F-U-N!

Turkey Love May 3, 2011
Reviewer: Carol Wiggins from Thornton, ON Canada
I love this video!  It is so much fun, and Susan has so many great ideas, she teaches you how to do the turkey and keep its tail up, signs with chocolate, etc.  This cake could be made for any special occassion with a few simple modifications!  Love it!

This cake was a pleasure to learn!  The combinations are endless - it fits so many fall themes and great techniques you can use in other cakes - can you see the turkey as a peacock with just a few changes!  Susan outdid herself on this one!

What a Show Stopper! December 14, 2009
Reviewer: Nancy Parent from Ludlow, MA United States
I made this for our area's Senior Center Thanksgiving luncheon.  The concept is ADORABLE!  Susan breaks it all down to very do-able components. Her extra touches give it a fun, festive flare.  Easy to follow and people just love it!

So many elements! November 30, 2009
Reviewer: Mary from Texas, USA
The first time I saw this, I thought, "Wow, that is a lot of work." After watching the video, I knew that the cake is really several cakes..the turkey, the bales and the pumpkin. I've used the pumpkin in several other cakes, as well as the straw bales. A fun cake to make, yet not to intense in the skills required. Fondant, buttercream, molding fondant, carving a cake, covering a cardboard with fondant...it's all there!

SO much to learn in this video! June 23, 2009
Reviewer: Pamela†P from Athens,†GA†United States
Where to start?  The huge turkey?  How to support his head and tail?  The bales of hay?  My first pumpkin?  This video just goes on and on and the things you learn are totally applicable to other cakes you'll make all year long.  Susan is so cool.  Sometimes I was  holding my breath.
