Learn to make Buttercream Icing Transfers with this online four-video set!

Have you looked at those cakes with beautifully "painted" pictures on the top and wondered to yourself, "How do they do that?"

This four-video set explains it in an easy, step-by-step way. After watching Carrie make a butterfly buttercream transfer, you'll be able to make one, too!

Carrie uses decorating "tricks of the trade" with this cake. It's best to have the "Cake Decorating Made Easy!" basics under your belt, or have other cake decorating experience to get the most out of this video set!

Meet the Decorator...           Carrie was introduced to the world of decorating through her first job with Baskin Robbins learning the basics. She then worked for a couple of small bakeries in Michigan to help put herself through Nursing school.

Like many of you, she has been mostly self taught due to the lack of decorators at most of the bakeries where she worked. She calls it "Baptism by fire!" At first it was "repair work." When delivery boys accidentally put their hand in a cake they were delivering or took a corner too fast in their cars, she fixed the cakes that other decorators had made. It was great training for doing her own work!

Carrie's ease in creating her delightful cakes and cookies, and her easy-teaching style will convince anyone who watches her videos that anything can be mastered in cake decorating!

I have used the instructions for the buttercream transfer several time now for Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Ben10 and several others.  Carries instructions are easy to follow.  I was amazed that it worked the first time!!

I used the technique taught in this video for a Dora the Explorer cake but you can do absolutely anything you can imagine. I had read about buttercream transfers but couldn't grasp quite how to do it until I actually saw it being done. It is really quite easy. Pics on gallery.

Reviewer: Patricia Roberts from Leander, TX United States
My 5 and 6 year old grandkids did this for their mother's cake and it was so easy, they were able to do it!  The results were terrific and they were soooooooooo proud!  I recommend this as a started technique for little ones (and big ones, too...for a fast, easy, wonderful way to produce a cake!)  The instructions were clear and so easy to do!
