I really liked the tip about using double sided tape between the cake boards.  I made my first 4 tier cake and used the double sided tape  between the cake plates.  the cake did not move at all.  Thanks

Securing Wedding Cake Tiers June 19, 2009

One of the best tip/technique I learned in this video was to use double sided foam tape between your cake board and the cake plate when making tiered cakes.  This keeps the cake secure when transporting. I made a 4 tier cake and used this technique, drove the cake to its' destination which was over 60 miles and it did not budge.  Thank you Susan Carberry and YummyArts!
