I really liked the tip about using double sided tape between the cake boards. I made my first 4 tier cake and used the double sided tape between the cake plates. the cake did not move at all. Thanks

Securing Wedding Cake Tiers |

One of the best tip/technique I learned in this video was to use double sided foam tape between your cake board and the cake plate when making tiered cakes. This keeps the cake secure when transporting. I made a 4 tier cake and used this technique, drove the cake to its' destination which was over 60 miles and it did not budge.
