I am not an artist but creating this rice paper transfer using piping gel, food safe marker and image can turn an ordinary sheet cake into something personal and professional.

If you need a fun and easy cake idea, this is it! I actually used this idea for a Wow, Wow, Wubbzy cake and standup Wubbzys. Now what a tablescape that was!

If you have not seen a video that Tami Utley has produced, you have really missed out. She is fun and by the time it is over, you feel like you have made a real friend. She takes you through this technique with the ease of a pro while not being so picky that you think you have to be perfect - the results are amazing!

Rice Paper |

Oh my. I just love to learn and here is a whole new avenue of decorating cakes. I found a huge bundle of rice paper and with this video have used some with great success. Be sure to let that first, dark outline dry first before adding other colors, though, like she says! Great video.
