Although I had been through a decorating class I still had some issues with a few things. This set was extremely helpful in getting over the problems I was having. Thank you.

im a beginner baker and this came in handy so much. when i say beginner i mean i didnt even know which end of the cake to level or what crumb coating was
its a great refresher video as well for when you need to remember something

Excellent Learning tool |

I purchased this a few weeks ago and have used it more than a dozen times. There are so many helpful hints and I love seeing it and not just reading how to do it. I've watched how to do a crumb coat, to making royal icing. I didn't know to wipe the inside of bowl with vinegar and water, because of grease breaking down the icing. This video is wonderful.

You may be thinking, "I know this and don't need a video of basic cake decorating." WRONG..... It gave step by steps on basically everything one needs to know to start decorating cakes. A++++

Great beginners video |

I found this video set AFTER I took cake decorating classes at a local craft store. Even though some of these techniques were taught in class, I found this video to be extremely helpful especially the part about leveling your cakes and smoothing your icing...none of that was taught in the classes I attended. Plus, once I left the class, I didn't have anything to refer to and that's where having the video comes in handy.
I would highly recommend this video to ALL cake decorators!
