Buttercream all the way!!! |

I was doing a few different cakes for some orders that I had to fill. One of them changed their mind and wanted a totally different cake. So I had an 8" cake and some buttercream left that I had no use for. So as the saying goes: waste not, want not, I remembered this design and used the 8" cake with the buttercream to make a cake for the house. This cake was easy to make, and you really can't screw it up because you decide where the vines, leaves and all the decorations will go. I invited a few of the women in my life for some cake and coffee afterwards. This cake was a big hit with all of them.

Another quick and easy cake. No matter how you do this you can't go wrong. Learn how to make the vines and the flowers for this cake. Susan will also explain how to make the chocolate plaque to write your message on.
So many ways you could change this cake to change with the seasons or change to a favorite flower or colors..

I love dogwood & this cake makes me think of them. Susan's instructions are easily understood and the design makes the cake look more complicated than it is. Great cake in all buttercream.

Here is another great cake for your people who won't touch fondant and, let's face it, we know who they are. This cake is easy and fun to do and you can do it first and then variations will come to mind about how you'll change it a bit next time or how it'd be perfect in a different way for a certain someone. For me, it's just right as it is.
